Overview

Shots Allergy shots, also known as immunotherapy, are a type of immunological treatment that helps reduce or eliminate the symptoms of allergies caused by environmental allergens. Allergy shots involve the injection of a small dose of an allergen extract into the body, which helps the body to build up a tolerance to the allergen. This therapy has been proven to be effective in reducing symptoms of long-term allergies, such as hay fever, asthma, and insect sting allergies, allowing people to enjoy life free of these symptoms. Allergy shots can also be used in combination with other treatments, such as medications and lifestyle modifications, to further reduce symptoms.
