Biography
Remzi Karadag is an Associate Professor at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Turkey, where he specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide spectrum of ophthalmological diseases, with advanced clinical expertise in glaucoma, corneal disease, lens disease, and oculoplastic disease. He supervises residents in both inpatient and outpatient services and delivers periodic lectures and seminars on fundamental and clinical ophthalmology to peers, faculty, and trainees. His most-cited publication, "Corneal sensitivity and subjective complaints of ocular pain in patients with fibromyalgia" (2018), has received 27 citations and reflects his research contributions to understanding ocular manifestations of systemic conditions. Dr. Karadag is an active member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Ophthalmology Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
