Which journals can I submit to with my membership?

Your membership provides access to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Big Data Research (JBR) and the Journal of Research in AI (JRAI) only. Other Open Access Pub journals require separate membership plans.

How do I determine if I'm from a developed or developing country?

We follow the World Bank's classification of economies. You can check your country's status on the World Bank website. If you're unsure, contact our membership team for clarification.

What happens if I exceed my manuscript allocation?

If you exceed your annual manuscript allocation, standard APC rates will apply to additional submissions. You can upgrade your membership plan at any time to increase your allocation.

Can I transfer my membership benefits to another person?

Individual memberships are non-transferable. Institutional memberships can be used by any affiliated researcher within your organization.

Do unused benefits carry over to the next year?

Unused manuscript allocations do not carry over to the next year. However, if you renew your membership before expiration, any remaining unused services can be carried forward to the new term as a courtesy.

Membership Validity

Membership is valid from the date of subscription and continues for the full term (1 year or 2 years). Validity is calculated date-to-date, meaning a membership purchased on March 15, 2025 remains valid until March 14, 2026 (for 1-year) or March 14, 2027 (for 2-year plans).

Service Allocation and Usage

All membership services (publication slots, language editing credits, plagiarism checks) must be utilized within the prescribed membership term. Non-usage of allocated services does not entitle members to extensions beyond the membership expiration date. Plan your manuscript submissions strategically to maximize membership value.

Renewal and Service Carryforward

If you renew your membership before the current term expires, any remaining unused services (publication slots, editing credits, etc.) can be carried forward to the new membership term as a courtesy. However, renewals completed after membership expiration do not qualify for service carryforward. We recommend renewing 30 days before expiration to ensure continuity.
