Aims and Scope

International journal of Health statistics proposes to bring out Statistics about some aspects of health, which helps in figuring out who is at risk for certain diseases, finding ways to control diseases, and deciding which diseases should be studied. IJHS accepts and distributes contributions in the form of Original research, Review, Literature review, Conference proceedings, Case reports, Short communication, Thesis, Letter to the editor, and Editorials, which concentrates mainly on health statistics.

 

The International Journal of Health Statistics (IJHS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal aimed at providing in-depth research into topics of interest concerning health statistics around the world. IJHS is an international platform which shares the latest developments in health statistics to aid decision makers, researchers, clinicians and policy makers. The journal strives to bridge the gap among public health professionals and thereby promote health outcomes and wellness around the world.

 

The aim of IJHS is to bridge the gap between practitioners and researchers in the fields of health statistics and biostatistics, by publishing evidence-based research findings that are useful for policy makers, health care providers, researchers and the scientific community generally. Additionally, the journal is devoted to advancing the understanding of health statistics and biostatistics, as it applies to clinical, public health and research contexts.

 

The journal welcomes manuscripts that offer original contributions related to the areas of epidemiology, public health, biostatistics, healthcare delivery, clinical studies, health policy and economics, health services research, health management, health information systems, and good health.
