Italy

The Journal of Otolaryngology Advances was my journal of choice for my long, complex and inevitably controversial review on the origins of the Brainstem auditory evoked potential. Other journals in the field of auditory physiology or clinical neurophysiology have very strict word limits and therefore would only have published an abbreviated version. The JOA did not impose any such restrictions. If my article had been abridged, it would have severely compromised and weakened the arguments adduced.
