- Dr. Matura's research focuses on symptoms management in people with cardiopulmonary disease, particularly pulmonary arterial hypertension.
- She is interested in understanding the symptom experience and how symptoms affect outcomes such as functionality and health-related quality of life.
- Dr. Matura is currently working to understand the biological mechanisms of symptoms including genomic susceptibility with a particular interest in fatigue and sleep.
