Biography
Mohammed Merzah, PhD, MPH, is a researcher at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, specializing in health sciences, genetics, epidemiology, and infectious diseases. He received his doctoral training at the University of Debrecen and holds additional qualifications from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. His research examines the interplay between genetic susceptibility and socioeconomic determinants of health, exemplified by his most-cited publication, "Roma Socioeconomic Status Has a Higher Impact on Smoking Behaviour than Genetic Susceptibility" (2021). Dr. Merzah has contributed to over 12 indexed publications in his fields of expertise.
