Scope of JOD:

The Journal of Death is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on the multidisciplinary study of death and dying. The journal covers a wide range of topics related to death, including but not limited to cultural attitudes towards death, bereavement, end-of-life care, funeral practices, ethical and legal issues surrounding death, grief and mourning, and the psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of death and dying.

2. Submission Process: All submissions should be made through our online submission system. Please visit our website to create an author account and submit your manuscript at Manuscript Zone Portal. During the submission process, you will be required to provide a cover letter, conflict of interest disclosure, and any relevant supplementary materials.

3. Ethical Considerations: Authors must adhere to the highest ethical standards in research and publication. Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed at the time of submission. If the research involves human subjects, authors must provide evidence of approval from an appropriate institutional review board.

4. Peer Review Process: All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review by experts in the field. Authors can expect timely and constructive feedback from the reviewers.

JOD is a self-supporting journal and does not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the operation of the journal is supported by the processing fees received from the authors. Processing fees are required to meet operational expenses.
